INDUCTION LOOP HIRE

Induction loops, which can also be known as Hearing Loop or T-Loop is an assisted listening system providing access to those with a hearing impairment.

HOW DOES AN INDUCTION LOOP WORK?

Hearing Loops work by amplifying sound from an audio source such as a microphone or television. The sound signal is then connected to an induction loop amplifier, generating a current and passing the signal to an induction loop (copper wire). The copper wire can be set to surround the area required and produces a magnetic field. This magnetic field is then picked up by the hearing aids of the audience.

When the hearing loop system is a temporary placement,  the copper wire is secured to the floor area and taped down. Please note restrictions will apply depending on the venue so it is worth checking what their guidelines are.

IS YOUR HEARING LOOP SYSTEM UP TO SCRATCH?

Hearing loops are common in public spaces as they assist people with a hearing impairment. They are however commonly misunderstood, forgotten about or even incorrectly installed.
